Your Role as a Bridge & Structures Engineer:

  • Design and develop construction documents and specifications for bridge and structural civil projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Lead and support the planning, design, and structural inspection of a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare detailed engineering plans, reports, specifications, and cost estimates to bring innovative infrastructure solutions to life.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulators, and permitting agencies to ensure project success from concept to completion.
  • Conduct field assignments, including data collection and construction observation, to bridge the gap between design and real-world application.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sharing expertise and learning from industry leaders.

Requirements

 What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited program).
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Indiana. (Preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in bridge and structural civil design, as well as construction involvement.
  • Proven experience with INDOT, county, and municipal transportation projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in:
    • AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer
    • Stormwater design software (StormCAD, CDSS)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
