We're looking for a Weekend Fleet Service Technician who places an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers, and the company.   


As a Weekend Fleet Service Technician, you will work as part of a small team to repair and replace commercial tires and wheels at customer fleet locations during a weekend shift consisting of three 12-hour days, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

What you will be doing as a Weekend Fleet Service Technician

  • Communicate and coordinate with Weekend Team members and Team Leader via phone, text, and email.
  • Receive, read, and carry out instructions from Fleet Worksheets provided by the Team Leader.
  • Remove, install, rotate, balance, and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires, primarily at customer locations, but also in shop when necessary.
  • Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels, using specialized equipment.
  • Evaluate tire conditions to determine if repair or replacement is needed.
  • Inspect casings for defects.
  • Locate and seal tire punctures (patch and plug).
  • Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping or grinding.
  • Detach and reattach common tire and wheel accessories such as wheel covers, caps, air-up hoses, etc., in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Operate heavy-duty service trucks and associated tools.
  • Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks.
  • Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks, diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain Company Vehicles to D.O.T. standard.
  • Prepare paperwork on-site detailing what services were performed and completed.

What boxes you have to check:

  • Must be able to work and manage time independently, without direct supervision, to meet productivity expectations.
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements.
  • Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds. 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
  • Team- Player: Works well as a member of a group.
  • Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
  • Must pass DOT medical certificate if applicable.
