What We're Looking For

    

To be successful at Medecision the Content Marketing Manager will understand what a customer centric organization entails and be able to infuse that ideology in your contributions. On a given day you will play a key role in developing a content strategy that supports developing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic, nurturing sales, and closing deals. 


The successful candidate is an exceptional writer and content strategist with a knack for breaking down complex topics into compelling, digestible narratives. Working closely with key partners across the organization, this individual will play a critical role in helping us drive brand awareness, affinity, and conversion through the strategic use of content. 

Requirements


Duties and Responsibilities 

     

· Support all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and improve shared content across social media channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, infographics, videos, and other content as needed

· Lead the development of campaigns to drive engagement with content 

· Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy to meet the business objectives

· Manage an editorial calendar and organization workflows to ensure our content is relevant to our target audience and scalable into different formats

· Edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice

· Contribute to corporate social media channels, as well as management of digital content hubs, including email/newsletter   distribution to ensure effective distribution and strategic amplification of   content for maximum reach and business impact

· Support with brand content strategy and social media strategy, as well as content needs for lead generation campaigns

· Edit and review a wide variety of content types, including social content, video, articles and long-form content

· Manage agency partners to develop engaging content marketing programs that drive business goals, overseeing content   development and project timelines

· Leading research to drive thought leadership that fuels content development and positions company as a thought leader and   information resource

· Keeping up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications

Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

    

· BA, BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience. Healthcare experience a plus. 

· 3+ years in marketing, communications, or writing-focused roles, preferably with experience in editorial content development for a digital publisher, or marketing/communications agency

· Proven success using content and social media to advance consumer brands

· Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it, with a strong understanding of the use of tone and voice for different audiences and channels

· A solid understanding of content and social marketing industry trends, tactics, and user behavior

· Self-motivated, articulate, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.

· Strong collaborator, ability to partner with internal teams and external vendors, sponsors, and agency partners.

· Proven experience utilizing strong interpersonal skills to guide stakeholders through the decision-making process involved in moving a project forward successfully.

· Ability to think creatively, stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines and problem solve

· Ability to work independently, as a team member, and under supervision required

· Creative and enjoys brainstorming to find ways to improve the customer experience

· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and other CRM,     marketing, or collaboration software.

Salary Description
$85,000 - $105,000 annually
