Job Title: Youth & Family Attendant
Department: Club Adventures & Experiences
Status: Seasonal FT
Reporting To: Youth Supervisor
Position Overview:
The Youth and Family Attendant will support the execution in a variety of events, programs, and experiences for families and their children. This position will facilitate special offerings and weekly experiences, including art, adventure, and regular programming. This person will have a passion for providing unique and wonderful experiences in a luxury club space to a community of adventurous members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with setup, teardown, and supervision of activities for children aged 5-12 years old and their families, including but not limited to music, games, art, swimming, and outside activities.
- Ability to engage in high-energy activities for upwards of 8 hours a day
- Support planning and implementation a progressive youth program, seeing to the total development of the participants mentally, physically, and emotionally
- Follow Leave-No-Trace principles in all outdoor activities
- Have a passion for outdoor recreation and an understanding or willingness to learn and teach about local flora and fauna
- Participate in the general planning of the youth programming
- Have the ability to think independently
- Foster community and culture with our membership, ensuring a luxury experience in all member interactions
- Support with setup and tear down of programming associated with large club events
- Support in all-member events with providing youth and family programming
- Ensure all steps are taken to maintain the reasonable the safety of all participants
- Keep all equipment in good operating condition and be responsible for returning items to their proper place
- Maintain required program records
- Attend staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain positive relations with parents and other staff
- Assist in maintaining and cleaning of assigned areas
- Assist activity directors while participating in their activity
- Be on site to support member families
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management
Requirements and/or Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of Youth programming or Luxury Club Hospitality experience preferred
- Familiarity with youth and family program planning and management
- Experience with Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with booking and registration softwares
- Familiarity with Club Youth and Family Programming
- SOP and ROS Development
- CPR/First Aid/AED Preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (25-40+lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
- Climb/descend stairs/ladders
Working Environment:
The Youth and Family Attendant position will have a variety of workspaces including indoor and outdoor areas such as play space, restaurant and club areas, on-mountain terrain, lakeside locations, and more
