The Position:

Under the supervision of the Soft Count Supervisor, responsible for the count process for the Gaming machines, Table Games and Kiosk drop. Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Sorts and counts contents of canisters using sophisticated counting machines while under continuous video and voice surveillance.
  • Straps and “bricks” (bundles) currency.
  • Prepares and balances accurate, legible and timely daily count reports.
  • Assures that all Internal Controls, policies and procedures are followed while keeping a positive environment by working as a team member.
  • Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or a GED Certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year of current cash vault experience.  
  • Banking or high volume retail cash experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of money straps, including their breakdown and values.
  • Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to work closely with other team members.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to work well while under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Ability to accurately use a 10 key calculator by touch.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
