The Business Team at Command Post Technologies is seeking a motivated Contracts Intern that is eager to learn about various aspects of contracts management, federal regulations and applicable laws within CPT’s business. Over the course of the internship, you will collaborate with our team on projects that are designed to enhance your knowledge and skills within the contracts and legal functions of our business. In addition, your internship will involve learning about our cross-departmental business processes, giving you a well-rounded perspective on how decisions integrate with broader organizational goals.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on various topics, including employment law, statutes, and regulations.
- Assist in drafting standard agreements and documentation, such as consulting agreements, teaming agreements, NDAs, performance improvement plans, severance policy, etc.
- Organize and maintain files and documentation.
- Assist with various special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Academic Background: Must be currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in pre-law, business, human resources, or related field.

- Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance
