Under the direction of the Production Supervisor or CNC Lead, set up, operate, and adjust CNC machining equipment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow part specifications to produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine. 

· Produce parts to the highest quality with minimal rework. 

· Remain calm when errors happen on CNC. Ask Supervisor if unsure about machine operation. 

· Complete paperwork and verify counts of parts prior to running order. 

· Send completed parts to the next department in a manner that carts are easily worked. 

· Remain compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations. 

· Recommend new and better processes, and methods to Lead or Supervisor. 

· May operate forklift if certified. 

· May perform minor assembly, for example fastening parts using power and hand tools. 

· Work with other departments on various assignments, as necessary. 

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience using tools and equipment.

· Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

· Perform basic mathematical calculations.

· Understand and follow written, verbal and demonstrated directions.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· General knowledge of and ability to use a computer.

· One year of relevant production or manufacturing experience.

· Experience operating CNC machine.

The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, carrying and moving parts, materials, and product. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
