Description

 Hotel security officers help protect guests and their valuables, as well as fellow hotel employees. Hotel security must watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
Essential Functions: 

  • Walks through entire property inside building and around the outside to assure security, including locking outside doors.
  • Enforces a quiet environment for sleeping guests.
  • Addresses guest complaints by investigations and giving warnings up to and including eviction of guests.
  • Become extensively familiar with hotel emergency procedures
  • Checks kitchen, banquet and meeting rooms to make sure doors and cabinets are locked.
  • Learn how to shut down and restart various equipment (i.e. elevators, fire panel, brakers, hotel radios, hot water boilers, air conditioning units and wall controls, etc.)
  • Complete nightly shift report and incident reports
  • Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete.
  • Work closely with the Doubletree and Embassy Suites Hotel Front Desk

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Part-time position. Weekends and some Holidays as needed

Shift: 3rd shift/Overnights 

11pm-7:30am or 10pm-60:30am

Hourly Rate: $19.00
