We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be a critical piece of a nimble and innovative team finding creative design solutions to customer problems in both the airborne and ruggedized ground-support spaces.  You will partner with talented mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and software engineers in a culture of fast-paced innovation. 


Responsibilities:

- Building and reworking prototypes of complex electronic assembles

- Creating production work instructions

- Ordering parts

- Programming and operating pick-and-place machine for PCB assembly

- Mechanical assembly and rework

- Operating laboratory test and measurement equipment such as power supplies, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes

- Lead organization and maintaining cleanliness of laboratory

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as Technician – either in production or design environment

- Skilled in soldering printed circuit board and cable assemblies

- Able to read complex drawings and schematics

- Experience with hands on assembly and fabrication

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to lift 80 lbs

- Familiarity with Electronics Manufacturing IPC Standards preferred

- Experience in building PCB assembly with pick-and-place machine preferred

- Experience with CNC machining or laser cutting preferred

- Experience with Labview or other test automation preferred
