ITI is seeking a dedicated and proactive Manufacturing Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for manufacturing and its processes’, possess exceptional organizational skills, and has a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. As Manufacturing Program Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role will be responsible for assisting Production and Program Management in completing deliveries of the various products manufactured at ITI. The role will require heavy coordination between Program Management and Production to ensure program production and delivery needs are seamlessly coordinated and executed to ensure on time customer delivery. This role will be full-time and will be 100% in person at our Oviedo, Florida location.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Program Management techniques to ensure adherence to manufacturing budget and schedule requirements.
- Report status to Production and Program Management.
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Interact with customers (externally) and internal departments to coordinate physical delivery of products.
- Initiate production through issuance of production work orders and monitor production status.
- Oversee production cycle times vs. budget and report to Program Management.
- Coordinate with various departments, including program management, procurement, sustainment, and quality to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
- Monitor production processes and implement measures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production and sustainment.
- Collaborate with the production manager to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Assist in resolving production-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Examples include end of life updates, manufacturing instruction changes, and quality defects.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as needed.
- Report status and issues to management when appropriate.
- Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100 Standard as well as necessary manufacturing industry safety regulations.
- Prior Program Management experience preferred.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Prior experience working directly with customers.
- Understanding of production processes, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
