Description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Student Marketing Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that resonate with students. You will leverage marketing automation, social media and 3rd party referral platforms to optimize engagement, enhance personalization, and drive conversions. The ideal candidate understands student behavior, digital marketing trends, and how to create compelling messaging that attracts and retains a student audience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop and execute student-centered marketing campaigns across email, social media, web, SMS, and other digital channels.
  • Working closely with the product team, utilize our marketing automation tools (Marketo, PostUp, Groove) to segment audiences, personalize outreach, and track campaign performance.
  • Stand up landing pages, forms and other lead generation tools as needed in either Word Press or Marketo.
  • Ensure campaigns are scalable and repeatable when successful.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and social media managers to develop compelling, student-relevant content.
  • Use best practice campaign tracking techniques and tools, such as UTM codes and Google Analytics, to measure campaign performance.
  • Analyze additional campaign data, track KPIs, and optimize strategies for higher engagement and conversion rates.
  • Implement A/B testing and automation workflows to enhance lead nurturing and engagement.
  • Manage and maintain our 3rd party referral sites to widen our reach and exposure to various student audiences.
  • Support our Member Services and Customized Program teams with any requests to target a specific university cohort.
  • Coordinate with student organizations, influencers, and partners to expand campaign reach.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in student marketing, social media, and digital communication.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and use insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with students and creating engaging experiences tailored to their needs.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and influencer marketing.
  • Familiarity with higher education, student recruitment, or advocacy organizations.

WHAT EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED

  • 4-6 years of experience in campaign management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of student behavior, engagement strategies, and digital marketing trends.
  • Experience with email marketing, social media advertising, and content marketing.
