Ken Neyer Plumbing is seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our growing fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on jobs
- Respond to road calls or breakdowns as needed
- Order parts and maintain shop inventory
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized

EOE/AAP/M/F/V/D/SO
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a fleet or diesel mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive and diesel systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Employees must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a background, motor vehicle check and drug screening.
Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement. All employees that operate company vehicles must maintain their driving record as insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance provider.
