Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Recycling Center Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities working at the Carroll County Recycling Center. Recycling Center Job Coach RATE: $19.25 per hour
When would you work?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:30AM-3:30 PM

ESSENTIAL Responsibilities (Recycling Center Job Coach) include but are not limited to:
1. Open and close Recycling Center daily.
2. Greet customers, process recyclables, maintain records.
3. Coordinate, supervise and assist Community Service Volunteers in collection and preparation of recyclable materials.
4. Provide orientation to Community Service Volunteers regarding duties and responsibilities.
5. Provide instruction and job coaching to people regarding successful work habits, appearance, and communication.
6. Provide personal assistance as necessary, including assistance with personal hygiene, lifting and transferring.
7. Ensure all volunteers and workers wear appropriate safety gear.
8. Ensure work environment is clean and safe.
9. Attend meetings and in-service meetings pertinent to position.
10. Assist with processing and sorting of recyclable materials.
11. Participate in the development of people’s PCP; implement and document PCP progress toward goals.
12. Support people with the job exploration/job development process under the guidance of Coordinators and Job Developers.
13. Assist people in developing natural supports and relationships to aid them in maximizing independence.
14. Monitor job site and employer expectations specific to individual’s job duties and document communication.
15. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of CPR, First Aid and other Developmental Disabilities Administration and Arc required training.
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds.
- Valid Maryland driver’s license with no more than 2 current points on record.
- Clean criminal record and drug screen.
