Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of our equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively while also managing budgets and schedules for facility modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
- Schedule and coordinate facility modifications to minimize disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance activities align with organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate maintenance activities' performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards and building codes
residential and commercial buildings.
- Working knowledge of advanced mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial alarm systems
- Experience with municipal building permit processes/working with municipal inspectors
- Full understanding of structural concerns of roof and foundation maintenance
- Previous experience with Contractor and Service Vendor coordination
- OSHA 10-Hour and /or OSHA 30-Hour safety training
- Understanding of requirements for building permits and code violations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in preventative maintenance management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of facility management, construction, and maintenance practices for residential and commercial buildings
- Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for project management and maintenance tracking.

Salary: $28 - $30 / hour based on experience

- Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional maintenance staff in a multi-site facility
- 21 Years of Age
- Valid IL Driver's License and good driving record (no more than 2 accidents in 5 years)
- High school diploma or GED
