Anticipated start date on or around 5/15/2025
Looking for a candidate to assist in development and delivery of new DLA application solutions and sustainment of application operational capabilities. The PEO provides oversight and direction to portfolio managers and program managers of emerging and sustainment programs covering the entire acquisition lifecycle.
Provides facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process reengineering across all phases, identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices, and supervision of business process reengineering. Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Duties include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. Communicates verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.
Assists with identification, assessment, and recording of near, medium, and long-term business needs and technology solutions. Prepares and track project plans for project inception to completion. Assists with facilitation of the implementation of new functionality, training, and troubleshooting. Participates in effective problem solving. Participates in frequent business presentations. Communicates verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree Required
- Four (4) years relevant experience with at least one (1) year experience working with business process re-engineering.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
- Experience with EDI/XML electronic data exchange (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology) and a specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation and operations research)
- First-hand knowledge of the following: DoD/Component policies, business procedures, business rules, data standards and transaction standards (both DLMS and legacy formats) in support of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accountability Procedures (MILSTRAP), Military Standard Billing System (MILSBILLS), Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) and Web SDR, DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD)/ Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD), Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS), Physical Inventory, federal cataloging data standards, materiel technical data standards, and transaction standards in support of seamless integration with the supply/logistics domain.
