KCARC is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our Residential Services team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). We support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently and fully as possible.

  

What You’ll Do:

  • Build respectful, meaningful relationships with the      individuals you support
  • Assist with daily living activities including personal      hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and      complex needs
  • Help individuals work toward personal goals like      budgeting, nutrition, and exercise
  • Encourage community involvement, self-advocacy, and      independence
  • Promote safety, dignity, and respect at all times

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

  • One year working with individuals with developmental      disabilities preferred
  • Three years of driving experience preferred

Skills & Traits:

  • Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and      adaptability
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and responsible

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
