Crevalle Boats is hiring a part-time driver to haul boats from our manufacturing plant to affiliated dealerships and customers. This position requires knowledge of professional driving, loading and unloading boat trailers, and basic transportation safety standards. 

Description:

As a driver for Crevalle Boats you will be transporting our boat models to dealerships and customers all across the United States. This position may require traveling for multiple days at a time. The majority of trips will be within the state and can be made within a day’s time. Some dealerships and customers are located as far north as New York and Michigan. Knowledge of loading and unloading boats from a boat trailer is essential. There may be times when a boat must be loaded, or unloaded, using a boat ramp. Knowledge of oversize load requirements are essential. Knowledge of driving through unfavorable weather conditions is essential. Traveling expenses and accommodations are paid for by the company. 

Requirements:

• Must have a valid CDL.
• Must have cleaning driving record.
• Must have prior knowledge of commercial transportation standards.
• Must be able to read and write English. 
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to use global positioning systems (GPS).
• Must be able to keep an accurate driver’s log. 
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to starting work and every two years thereafter.
