Description
Position Summary:
The Territory Sales Representative drives sales growth and strengthens customer relationships
within an assigned territory. This entry-level role is perfect for a motivated, self-starter passionate about the automotive aftermarket. The position involves significant travel to engage with Distribution Centers (DCs), Independent Stores, and Warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with retail team goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Ownership: Build and maintain strong relationships with DCs, Independent Stores, and Warehouse staff.
- Sales Growth & Market Share: Identify opportunities to drive sales through product placement, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent service by addressing customer needs and assisting with inventory management.
- Sales Training: Conduct sales training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling confidence
- Promotion: Help support any and all programs and specials. Continually drive awareness on the availability and benefits of WAI products within our distributors stores.
- Market Insights: Gather and report insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, training events, and customer meetings.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with retail sales, marketing, and distribution teams to achieve business objectives.
- Field Presence: Travel regularly within the territory to meet customers and drive results.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years in sales, retail, or customer service.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with North American Distributors and Parts Retailers.
- Technical Skills: MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI or analytical software preferred.
- CRM Experience: Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Languages: Fluent in English; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory.
