Role Objective:
This role will support the Chief Operating Officer. The Business Analyst will develop and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity to help guide the organization into the future. The analyst will also work on expansion efforts to elevate Fly Alliance above its current growth trajectory.

Essential Job Tasks:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to understand business processes, identify issues, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and track project progress. Type of weekly reporting includes but is not limited to maintenance technician labor efficiency, pilot dispatch reliability, charter sales analysis, business aviation market trends, and accounting cash flow reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and propose solutions to streamline operations and improve performance.
- Problem Solving: Analyze business problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Communication: Communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, in a clear and concise manner.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, implementation, and testing to ensure that solutions meet business needs and objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Financial Analysis: May be involved in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions.
- Market Research: may conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends.
- System Analysis: Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements.
Competencies:
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated exceptional ability to use Microsoft Excel and proficient in other programs including but not limited to Slack, Hubspot, PowerBi and more.

Work Environment:
- Work is generally performed within an office environment at the company office in Teterboro, NJ at the Teterboro Airport, however travel will be required 3-5 days a month to other company offices throughout the country.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time;
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and outside on the airport ramp to greet pilots and technicians, access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.;
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer;
- Operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication;
- Some Physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently; and
- Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others.
Travel:
- Some travel required 3-5 days a month for client and company meetings to various parts of the world.
Required Education/Experience:
- MBA required
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics and systems development
- Recent MBA graduates may be considered
- Proven analytics abilities
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports
- Proven ability to manage projects
- Extensive experience with financial analysis
