Description

Position Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests during banquet events at Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort. This role ensures that guests have a pleasant dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.


Qualifications:

  • Background in customer service preferred.
  • Experience in banquets, event management or food and beverage preferred.
  • Availability during peak operating times: weekends, evenings and holidays required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, following event specifications and service standards.
  • Greet guests, respond to their inquiries, and ensure their needs are met throughout the event.
  • Monitor tables during the event, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any guest requests.
  • Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of the banquet area after the event, ensuring all equipment and areas are left in good condition.
  • Work closely with other banquet staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service and coordination.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires sitting, hand-eye coordination, stooping, kneeling and walking/standing for multiple hours in succession. This position may on occasion require lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to approximately 21-50 pounds.
