Looking for a promising career in light manufacturing and are mechanically inclined? DIY Media Group is looking for a candidate with high energy and attention to detail to join our Packaging team. In this role, you will deliver finished discs and other products to musicians, videographers, and corporate customers. You’ll learn the proper operation of light industrial robotic machines and/or shrink wrappers that assemble jewel boxes, DVD cases, etc.

Located right outside Philadelphia in Pennsauken, NJ, DIY Media Group is the parent company to industry-leading brands Disc Makers and Bookbaby. Shift Available:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM on-site at our HQ in Pennsauken, NJ

Salary:

$16+ per hour, depending on experience

As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented production environment
• Learn to run packaging machines, such as Gima disc packaging, Shanklin wrappers, etc.
• Contribute to a positive, high-energy, diverse team environment to provide a high-quality product
• Receive cross-training and be an active participant in continuous improvement initiatives

Successful candidates are:

• Mechanically inclined
• Willing to learn different skills and cross-train
• Have an attention to detail and quality
• Possess the ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions
• Have knowledge and ability to apply basic safety rules and practices
• Have strong math skills
