The Inspector/Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying incoming components and completing the inspection process according to the requirements set by the customer. They are tasked with identifying potential issues, documenting said issues, and routing the product to the next step of the verification process.
The Inspector/Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling and receiving incoming product, component material, and RMA from customers. They will ensure accuracy by verifying vendor information, parts received, and quantity received in accordance with purchase orders. They will be asked to repackage or relabel material as necessary and will segregate material requiring incoming inspection both physically and electronically. They will also be responsible for processing and shipping outbound shipments both domestic and international.
Essential Functions
- Match incoming parts to purchase order and customer requirements
- Stock incoming product
- Verify product against data sheet requirements for product verification
- Input product information into the receiving system
- Process non-conforming products in line with quality management system
- Label conforming product for packaging according to customer requirements
- Pull stock for shipping
- Fill out inspection reports
- Resolve discrepancies
- Receive product from courier for initial verification and inspection
- Unpack and photograph incoming products
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Scan and enter delivered items and ensure quality
- Move, inventory and materials to quality inspectors
- Sort, organize and store inventory in designated location
- Package and label correctly
- Domestic and International invoicing
- Logistics support for carriers and customs
- Receive and process customer RMA’s/returns to suppliers
- Ship utilizing the latest software from the major carrier
- Stack and organize large bulk items including wrapping and storing pallets
- Adhere to compliance ANSI ESD S20.20 requirements
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Work as a proactive team member to reach goals and KPI’s

- Possess a minimum of two years' inspection experience, preferably with electronic components.
- Ability to follow all health and safety procedures/regulations as dictated by Rand and the state.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to read and write in English.
- Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check prior to hire.
- Preferably with related experience in shipping and receiving process
- Experience in quality check and inspection is a plus
- Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word/Excel and inventory software skills
- Flexible working overtime as needed
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office application
- Demonstrated experience working with carrier programs: FedEx Ship Manager, UPS
- WorldShip and My DHL Express, including quotes.
- Knowledge of HTS Code and Schedule B Codes for import/export is a plus
- Knowledge of BIS, ECCN for export licensing is a plus
- Knowledge of BOL, SLI and the need for LTL and 3rd party shipping processes is a plus
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time during the shift.
- Bend, move, lift, carry and kneel
- Lift up to 25 pounds or more, over 50 pounds with assistance.
