The Sales Associate Position is a key position within Compliance Navigation Specialists, Inc. and will report directly to the VP of DOT Compliance & Risk Management. They will work closely with our Sales & Marketing Teams to bring our unique and proprietary services to the industries we serve. This role will be looked to have hunger, tenacity, and passion to bring our services to new clients across the United States. This role is a non-remote role and will require full-time hours in-office.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Inside Sales: Follow-up with Marketing leads on a daily basis with a strong emphasis on following up with prospects who have shown interest in CNS’ Services. Answer Sales Phone Lines to ensure new potential clients understand what services we offer and find solutions for them.
  • Prospecting Lists: Utilizing existing Prospecting Lists as well as creating new lists to develop new relationships with potential customers.
  • Service Knowledge: Understanding the solutions that CNS can provide to our clients and being able to communicate effectively our fundamental Value Proposition to potential customers. CNS and our affiliate brands are a one-stop shop and there are many ways for our services to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Software Proficiency: CNS utilizes multiple software applications for our team members to use as resources. These applications ensure accuracy, efficiency, as well as reporting that is crucial to our team members' success. Sales Associates will be required to utilize accounting systems, Client Management Systems, as well as others as needed.
  • Strong Communication: Strong phone and email skills are necessary to attract clients to our services. Utilizing effective sales techniques while communicating with potential customers is key. Additionally, internal communication with respective teams will be necessary to maximize efficiency and limit mistakes.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from team members, stakeholders, and leadership into sales strategies. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement as a Sales Associate.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in or other post-secondary level of education with emphasis on Business, or related field or equivalent job experience in Sales Field (2 - 5 years of experience)
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as utilization of client management platforms.
  • Ability to follow through with prospects and leads thoroughly. Strong note taking skills to understand client needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.


Salary Description
salary: $40,000 - 65,000
