Manager – HCH Operations manages and supervises the operational and administrative functions, activities, and projects of an Ambulatory Care Clinic. Responsibilities include managing, planning and coordinating the operations of the Clinic to include the supervising all Clinic staff, billing and collecting procedures, monitoring delivery of patient services, planning for space allocation, compliance with grant reporting requirements. HCH Operations Manager will serve as the liaison with area hospitals, the justice system, and other service providers in coordinating the array of services provided to high utilizer patients in the homeless community.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop/maintain mechanism for compiling of required metrics information for monthly/quarterly reports on grant activities and services. (e.g. Methodist Ministries)
· Coordinate referrals and maintain tracking system for all HCH specialized operations.
· Provides general supervision of clinical support staff including Nursing, Patient Care Coordinators, Patient Navigators, and Medical Case Managers, by teaming with the Office Supervisor and Nursing Supervisor.
· Actively participate in personnel activities to include interviewing and hiring of applicable staff and processing employment changes.
· Responsible for monitoring clinical staff’s adherence to established protocols and best practices to include E.H.R. documentation required to measure the performance of the clinic’s care coordination
· Anticipate patient customer services needs and assist immediately with the resolution of patient and/or other complaints referred by the Practice Administrator.
· Participates on the Operations Team to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures, training programs and new management initiatives.
· Conducts staff meetings, maintains open communications, and encourages teamwork among all staff.
· Prepares and analyzes reports on the work of the Care Coordination team for the Practice Administrator.
· Establish professional working relationships with staff, co-workers, superiors and partnering agencies involved in the HCH program.
· Participates in the agency’s CPI Program.
· Actively promotes high levels of customer service within all areas of responsibility.
· Understands, leads and promotes CentroMed’s mission and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity, safety, corporate responsibility and objectives.
· Abides by all policies and procedures set forth by CentroMed
· Ensure the protection and security of all personal, confidential and identifiable information in a professional and responsible manner and carry out all measures to prevent from unauthorized disclosures. Demonstrating and maintaining the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
· Assists in training new employees in performing their job duties as requested.
· Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
· Performs other duties assigned.

Education Bachelor’s degree in administration, health related field or at least four years of equivalent experience
Experience Minimum three year’s managing a health care clinic
Other Bilingual/Bicultural preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted.
