ProVets Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Intermediate Contract Administrator to provide acquisition and contract administration support for the U.S. Air Force. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in federal contracting and a strong understanding of procurement activities at the base level, including services, commercial items, and minor construction.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard all procurement information in accordance with FAR 3.104.
- Assist in developing and executing approved acquisition strategies.
- Prepare documentation for competitive and noncompetitive procurements for CO review and approval.
- Provide contract-related advice, research, and analysis to support Contracting Officer decisions.
- Draft electronic synopsis announcements for CO issuance.
- Assist in preparing task orders, modifications, solicitations, and solicitation amendments.
- Support the development of evaluation criteria and related source selection materials.
- Track pre-award milestones, source selection plans, and award fee plans.
- Assist in proposal evaluations in accordance with FAR Part 15, AF supplements, and applicable guidance.
- Prepare draft briefings, correspondence, and reports for internal and legal use.
- Draft agency reports and related documents in response to protest actions or other claims.
- Enter, review, and update contractual documentation in designated systems and databases.
- Support meetings, site visits, and related coordination tasks as needed.
- Assist in developing spreadsheets and performing cost/price evaluations of contractor proposals.
- Monitor contract milestones and performance tracking.
- Support contract closeouts for task orders, delivery orders, and BPA Calls.
- Research and draft responses to FOIA requests, IG/GAO audits, and congressional inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to Contracting Officers, including drafting documentation and organizing contract files.
- Assist in distribution of contractual documents and records.
- Coordinate with DFAS and other agencies to ensure timely payments and financial adjustments.
- Make recommendations to the CO on funding modifications and obligations/de-obligations.
- Populate and analyze data in internal systems in accordance with local procedures.
- Assist in preparation for communications and discussions with offerors.
Note: Contractor personnel shall not perform inherently governmental functions as defined by FAR 7.503.
- 6 years of contracting experience within a Federal Government Agency.
- At least 2 years of base-level support experience, including purchasing commercial supplies, services, and minor construction.
- Preferred experience with the Department of the Air Force and construction contracting.
- DAWIA Contracting Professional, FAC-C Professional, or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct research and analysis of technical and cost/pricing data.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply acquisition policies, regulations, and guidance.
