Description

The Business Development Representative (Telemarketer / Digital Communicator) is responsible for scheduling presentations for the sales team with Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy prospects [I/DD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) and ICF (Intermediate Care Facilities) agencies and communities]. This is accomplished via telephone, email, social media, and other marketing initiatives. Position requires significant documentation in Company’s CRM software (HubSpot) and coordination with Marketing Manager, Digital Sales Specialist, Sales Team, and Chief Sales Officer. Candidates with prior I/DD and ICF pharmacy experience or experience selling other products, services, and/or software to I/DD communities or other business settings are preferred (not required). Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

Requirements
  • Scheduling presentations for our sales team to present our pharmacy services to regional I/DD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) and ICF (intermediate Care Facilities) Communities within designated service areas. 
  • Communicate with prospects to increase attendance at company marketing events (webinars, lunch programs, symposiums, tradeshows).
  • Meet and exceed scheduling goals.
  • Prior knowledge of I/DD and ICF prospects and contacts regionally/nationally is preferable (not required).
  • Coordinate with Chief Sales Officer, Digital Sales Manager and Sales Team in evaluating and qualifying new sales opportunities.
  • Drafting effective marketing emails (grammatical accuracy, marketing effectiveness) 
  • Comfortable “cold calling” prospects (telephonic and digital).
  • Experience presenting via Zoom, Teams, Webex, and/or RingCentral.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, market data, CRM, and communicating (verbally and in writing) with I/DD and ICF communities and agencies.
  • Develop a prioritization and targeting of potential prospects, coordination with tradeshows, State Associations, networking, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Participates in local, state, national trade shows and other marketing initiatives as requested.
  • Complete sale updates, tracking and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Documentation of sales activity in Company CRM software


Required Skills & Abilities 

  • 3+ years of prior tele-sales experience in healthcare and / or related experience preferred. 
  • Candidates with prior I/DD and ICF pharmacy experience or experience selling other value proposition products, services, and/or software. 
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or other CRM preferred.
  • Proficiency MS Excel, Outlook, and Word required.
