Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing expert advice on the safe use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to promoting health and wellness within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify proper dosage and instructions.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Provide professional guidance and advice to customers regarding medications, side effects, interactions, and general health matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and ensure controlled substances are handled in accordance with regulations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including inventory management, ordering, and receiving of pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Offer vaccination and immunization services as permitted by local law.
  • Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and pharmacy regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid pharmacist license in Oklahoma.
  • Proven experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Immunization certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
