Position Overview:
The Change Littles Nursery Helper provides loving, attentive, and faith-centered care for infants through preschool-aged children (6 weeks to 4 years old) during worship service and ministry events as scheduled. This role ensures a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, engages children in age-appropriate activities, and supports the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of every child. Nursery Helpers serve as essential members of the Change Littles Ministry, supporting families and enabling them to participate fully in church life.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serve in excellence by being early and prepared for all scheduled meetings.
- Establish and foster an exemplary relationship with staff/non-staff workers, church membership, and the community at large.
- Demonstrate a servant’s heart by having a willingness to perform other duties as needs may arise.
- Welcome children and families with warmth and professionalism.
- Provide direct supervision and nurturing care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years.
- Engage children in simple Bible-based activities (songs, stories, play) that reflect Christian values.
- Follow nursery guidelines for feeding, diapering, sanitizing toys/surfaces, and health protocols.
- Maintain accurate sign-in/out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized individuals.
- Notify ministry leadership of any incidents, concerns, or supply needs.
- Support the Change Littles Lead and other team members in maintaining a peaceful, joyful, and orderly nursery environment.
- Demonstrate a servant’s heart and a willingness to step into other duties as needed.
