Warehouse Lead hand: Dicom JD LLC

 Key Accountabilities:

• Assist Terminal Supervisor with daily dock operations, including reporting up to management on operations
• Ensure corporate and operational policies and procedures are followed by all team members. ( Safety and PPE) Promoting and displaying a safe working environment 
• Lead dock employees  
• Direct, Coach and delegate to the other team members on assigned duties 
• Train and Lead team members on new processes, polices, rules and regulations 

• Exception, Os&d, warehouse and yard reports where required
• Create shipping labels and documentations as required using various shipping systems (Computers)
• EH&S Committee participation 
• Perform inventory count based on packing slips when loading and unloading freight and when loading and unloading shipments and returns. 
• Auditing operations and employee work: Loading, Cross-docking, unloading, labeling and processing
• Other duties/ projects as assigned by management.  
• Ensure Warehouse and storage areas are kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved and work practices amended.

Skills and Experience Required:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent, 1 plus years of warehouse experience 
• Fork lift licence
• Leadership Skills –motivate the team, provide guidance, and delegate tasks, and be able to interact well with others in a respectful and polite manner
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Resourcefulness - Ability to quickly problem solve and trouble shoot
• Flexible schedule as needed, must be capable of working under tight constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities, Over time may be required
• Strong organizational and time management skills, 
• Must have good attendance, and maintain a presence within warehouse

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Regularly required to use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms.

Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs., occasionally lifting and/or moving objects that weigh more than 70 lbs. 

Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. bend, crouch, or crawl.

Required to work in Hot and cold Working environment (Warehouse)
