We are excited to open our newest location in Big Sky this June 2025, bringing our signature blend of adventure, hospitality, and community to one of the most sought-after outdoor destinations. As we prepare for our grand opening at the end of June, we are assembling a passionate team to help us create an exceptional guest experience from day one.

What You’ll Do

As a Cook II - Line Cook at Gravity Haus Big Sky, you’ll play an essential role in the kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients and assisting in the creation of delicious, sustainable dishes. Your attention to detail and passion for the culinary arts will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

  • Ensure ingredients and final dishes are fresh and prepared to standard.
  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
  • Present, garnish, and arrange dishes for optimal visual appeal.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring proper handling of utensils, equipment, and dishware.
  • Handle and store ingredients safely and appropriately.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Set up workstations with the necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels at assigned stations.
  • Accommodate special guest requests as needed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.

Who You are

  • 1-2 years of culinary experience.
  • Strong organizational and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Capable of working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficient knife skills.
  • Passionate about hospitality and guest experiences.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, relationship-building, and personal growth.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer
    • Food processor, mixer, slicer, oven
    • Steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill
  • High school diploma, culinary school, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Appreciation for the outdoors, sustainability, and personal development.
