Aspire is looking for a visionary Vice President, Service Line Development to lead and grow key service areas—Independent Living, Community Employment, and the Employment Training Program—and shape the future of disability services in Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin.

About the Role

As Vice President, you’ll shape Aspire’s growth strategy by developing and expanding service lines that connect people with disabilities to essential supports and opportunities. You’ll also share leadership of the Admissions function—fueling growth through outreach, partnerships, and strategic alignment. Working with internal leaders and external stakeholders, you’ll build sustainable services that meet evolving market needs.


Position Responsibilities

Service Line Development

  • Create and execute strategic plans to expand Aspire’s Independent Living, Community Employment, and Employment Training services
  • Oversee the integration of new services into operations, ensuring alignment and scalability
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure services are promoted, positioned, and delivered effectively 

External Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Cultivate partnerships with employers, referral networks, funders, and community stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities that align with Aspire’s mission
  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for external partners associated with assigned service lines

Census Growth

  • Drive enrollment growth through strategic outreach and marketing
  • Work closely with development and program teams to secure funding for service line excellence and capacity

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of service line directors and admissions professionals
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance
  • Ensure strong internal alignment and communication across departments

Financial Oversight & Reporting

  • Develop and manage service line budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Monitor financial performance and growth metrics, providing updates to senior leadership
  • Ensure alignment between service line strategies and organizational financial goal 

Data Management & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and tracking
  • Implement automation and efficiency tools to enhance decision-making and reporting
     

Reporting Structure

  • Director, Employment Training Program (1)
  • Director, Service Line Optimization
  • Admissions Team (2) – Matrix reporting relationship with VP, Operations
     


Requirements

 

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field  
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in service line or business development  
  • Demonstrated success growing programs or services and leading high-performing teams  
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and partnership development  
  • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis  
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in human services or disability-related fields  
  • History of launching or scaling multiple service lines  
  • Familiarity with CRM or data management systems
