Empire Technological Group DBA Aruze gaming Global is looking to add a Warehouse Technician I to our team!

Responsibilities:
- Unload and carefully inspect incoming shipments for damage. Record any discrepancies such as shortages or damages, and promptly inform the Warehouse Lead or Manager for further action.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse environment, ensuring efficient use of space and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company quality standards. Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation.
- Compare item counts and identifying information for both incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of material, invoices, orders, or other records to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in physical inventory processes, including cycle counts, bin audits, and order audits as needed.
- dentify opportunities to improve warehouse operations and collaborate on the implementation of efficiency enhancements, including layout adjustments, workflow improvements, and automation.
- Assist in onboarding new team members and ensure they are fully trained in company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Streamline the shipping process by coordinating with carriers, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, and negotiating shipping rates where applicable.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling of games, parts, and related equipment for shipment.
- Examine outgoing shipments to verify that they meet company specifications, have accurate labeling, and are properly packaged. Apply shipping instructions, labels, and other identifying information as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in safe working condition. Coordinate with external service providers for repairs when required.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move shipments from the receiving platform to storage or designated work areas.
- Help move games, parts, and related equipment using company vehicles as needed.
- Verify receiving information against the Control Document (Invoice) and ensure all documentation is accurate.
- Report any discrepancies, changes, recommendations, or issues to senior management for resolution.
- Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and conducting regular safety training sessions. Monitor team members for adherence to safety practices.
- Other duties as requested and /or assigned.
Skills / Abilities:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities and leadership.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Previous experience with quality control procedures and a keen eye for detail.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
