Position Overview:
The General Manager will lead and develop high-performing teams by recruiting, training, and providing ongoing feedback to drive team success and performance. They will oversee field operations, offering technical support and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards, while fostering a Customer First environment to achieve high customer satisfaction. The role also includes enforcing safety guidelines, managing timecards and inventory, and analyzing business performance through KPI reporting. Additionally, the General Manager will handle administrative duties, including proper documentation and adherence to company policies, while managing travel requirements to meet business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead high-performing teams by recruiting, training, and developing talent. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching through regular check-ins to enhance team success and performance.
- Field Supervision and Technical Support: Maintain visibility in the field, overseeing technicians and subcontractors. Offer technical assistance as needed, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal code requirements and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Customer Service Excellence: Fosters a Customer First environment to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Address and resolve customer issues promptly, developing effective solutions and communicating status updates to ensure a customer-focused approach.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines and regulatory compliance to promote a safe work environment and minimize workplace accidents. Train technicians on safety protocols and performance metrics, including conducting regular Toolbox Talks and addressing any non-compliance issues.
- Operational Management: Monitor and approve timecards for accuracy and compliance with wage laws. Oversee inventory management and vehicle maintenance, analyze business performance through KPI reporting, and support technicians through flexible field leadership.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure proper handling of company property and documentation according to established policies. Participate in hiring, training, reviewing, and developing all team members while managing travel requirements to support business needs.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) or more years of technical experience in spray foam installation, training, or servicing in a commercial or construction setting.
- Minimum of four (4) or more years in a lead, supervisory, or management role within the construction industry.
- Proficient in using spray foam equipment and processes.
- Familiar with performance management systems.
- Strong understanding of project management, resource allocation, technician utilization, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledgeable about Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products.
- Vocational/Technical degree in a relevant field; Technical certifications; Project Management Certification, preferred.
