River Region Psychiatry Associates, operating as Ally Psychiatry, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding outpatient practice. This is a great opportunity to be part of an established and growing team as we enter a new market.
Position Details:
- Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Call:
- 1 night of call per week
- 1 weekend of call per month
- 1 night of call per week
- Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrists and clinical staff

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing.
- Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing.
- Must have or pursuing a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting
- Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
- Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
- Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
