Axiom Care is a fast-paced, rapidly growing substance abuse treatment and sober living housing provider that is looking for some new talent to help us be the best provider of behavioral health services. We primarily serve low-income and justice-involved persons and work with all justice systems including Adult Probation and the Department of Corrections.
Clinicians complete assessments, collaborate with their clients to create individualized treatment plans, provide individual counseling, and group therapy sessions to assist clients with recovering from substance abuse disorders.
clinicians work closely with other treatment team members including BHTs, Peer Support Specialists, and clinical administration to provide high quality services to the patient population. Clinicians will complete documentation in the EMR and work with the billing department for all necessary utilization review.
Applicants must possess at least one of the following licenses in Arizona: LPC, LISAC, LCSW, or LMFT.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs and progress.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment plans for assigned caseload.
- Actively participate as a positive member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Responsible for providing group and individual treatment as directed by supervisor.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation same day as date of service.
- Maintain good standing with the appropriate board and insurance entities.
- Stay current with updated research and best practices.
- Secure client information per HIPAA standards.
- Attends and/or provides in-service training as needed.
- Promotes mission, vision, and values of the Axiom care program.

Qualification Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage Family, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university.
- Two to three years of experience working in behavioral health or substance abuse field preferred.
- Strong computer skills required, experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their loved ones and professionals.
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Strong assessment skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Working knowledge of twelve-step programs of recovery.
- Licensed at any level to provide counseling or as a psychologist in the state of operation (i.e. - LPC, LASAC etc. in Arizona).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
