Med-Care Providers is a growing mental health and primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally competent care to individuals, couples, and families. We specialize in evidence-based treatment and serve a diverse population through in-person and telehealth services.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is credentialed with Nevada Medicaid and registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, and experienced in working with individuals, couples, and families facing mental health and relational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
- Utilize evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, solution-focused therapy)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Nevada Medicaid and HIPAA
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and primary care providers
- Participate in supervision, case consultations, and team meetings
- Maintain active licensure and QMHP registration
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Current, unrestricted LMFT license in Nevada
- Credentialed with Nevada Medicaid (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with Nevada Medicaid
- Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health conditions
- Proficient with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages)
- Training in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or family systems
- Experience with telehealth platforms
- Group therapy experience a plus
