New Jersey. The firm services a diverse client base within the tri-state area providing highly personalized

and comprehensive accounting, audit, tax and business consulting services.


We’re currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Tax Services team. This is a key role for an experienced, self-driven professional with the potential to take on supervisory-level responsibilities.


In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a direct point of contact for clients — advising on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and compliance matters
  • Prepare complex Federal, State, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizations
  • Reviewing mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff within the Tax Services Department
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry regulations
Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Working towards CPA license, or CPA certification (preferred)
  • Having a Masters of Science in Taxation is a plus 
  • Minimum of four (4) years of tax experience in public accounting, with a strong background in 1040s, 1120s, and 1065s
  • Excellent analytical and technical tax skills 
  • Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Effective leadership, mentoring, and training abilities
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation for occasional client or office visits

Salary Description
$76,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
