Starting Pay: $16 - $18.50 per hour, DOE (Full pay scale is $16-$22)


Work Schedule:

  • ON-CALL, less than 30 hours per week
  • Must work a minimum of 8 hours per bi-weekly pay period (2 weeks), unless otherwise arranged with your supervisor.
  • Expected to be available to work within your declared availability when given proper notice.
  • Shifts available for day, swing, and graveyard

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Give clients their daily medication
  • Maintain a clean and safe home for the clients
  • Provide individualized care that is unique to each client's needs
  • Track client financials and household accounts
  • Help the client bathe and go to the bathroom
  • Assist with cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Use a computer to complete daily client documentation
  • Go with clients on outings to the store, museum, library, county fair, or music concerts
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check by DHS
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must complete CPR & First Aid training within first 90 days of employment (Paid training is provided).
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbal, oral, and written.
