Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Northeast Regional Director, the Large Account Manager is someone who performs a variety of sales-related duties and provides sales support in accordance with company policies and procedures. This is a role in a high energy industry and the ideal candidate needs to possess the skills to work independently and, in a team selling environment.
Responsibilities:
Sales Related:
· Identify and engage new opportunities within the assigned territory
· Create and conduct in-person meetings and presentations with decision makers, influencers and other key stakeholders to understand specific needs for a desired project
· Build and manage new and existing relationships, adding value and establishing trust
· Work collaboratively with Strategic Account Managers that will assist with identified customers within territory
· Conduct Matrix Fitness showcase tours for existing and potential customers
· Meet monthly goal for number of prospective customer site visits and new opportunities volume
· Provide Product Management with product, market and customer information
· Regularly provide management with accurate reports
· Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals within territory
· Follow all related procedures and policies
· Attend periodic industry trade shows which usually require travel
Marginal Job Functions:
· Other projects as needed.
Education:
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus additional training or education such as an associate degree with combination of experience required
· Bachelor's degree preferred in relevant field preferred
Experience:
· 3+ years of industry experience as a proven producer required
· Sales forecasting and reporting capability required
· Working knowledge of the commercial fitness industry; due paying facilities or vertical market required
· 2+ years of commercial fitness equipment sales preferred
Other Requirements:
· Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer required
· Software experience with CRM (SFDC), Auto Sketch or similar preferred
· A driver’s license requires an acceptable motor vehicle record for extensive domestic travel for customer site visits, trade shows, sales meetings, etc.
