Description
The Machine Operator is proficient in the following job responsibilities and has at least one year of production experience with operating machines.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:
- Machine Operator - Hydraulic Ironworker for punching, notching, cutting and bending profiles, steel plates, angles and bars.
- Cutting
- Drilling/Tapping
- Shear Press and Bend Operator
- Saw Operator
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to follow and carryout verbal and written instructions
Competencies
- Ability to work in an environment that produces excellent quality and quantity work
- Ability to communicate – verbally and written
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds unassisted
Work Environment
- Typical machine shop environment.
- Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met.
- Willing to be cross-trained on different machines
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Physical strength to perform semi heavy and bulky manual labor
