CUBRC is seeking a Property Clerk to support the Biological Test Division team conducting Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) at Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Primary duties will include:
· Maintaining records and conducting inventories of accountable property using computerized inventory systems.
· Filling out requisitions to order equipment, materials, supplies, and tools for the ongoing projects and facilities.
· Inventorying, storing, issuing, and accepting returns of equipment, materials, supplies, and tools using automated systems including the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) and the Army logistics information systems (LIS).
· Performing additional duties as assigned.
The position also requires that the selected candidate possesses:
· Experience working as a stockroom clerk and/or parts supply position with knowledge of issue, receipt, storage and tracking.
· Experience with electronic computerized property management and inventory systems.
· Excellent organizational skills and communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to appropriately communicate with colleagues, management and clients.
· Deep attention to detail and the flexibility and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in ordering / requisition of materials, supplies and/or equipment.
· Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
· Experience with Microsoft Office software including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
· A.A.S. in Business Administration or related discipline.
· Specific experience with the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) and/or the Army logistics information systems (LIS).
· Forklift and/or other material lifting equipment certifications.
· An active DoD security clearance (S).
· Experience in contract research, working for the federal government and/or private organizations.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and remain eligible for a US Department of Defense security clearance during the course of employment. Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
