The Lead License Tax Professional will act as an innovative Servicing Department leader, capable of providing vision and leadership in client servicing. Position is responsible for the operational functions of the Resolution Services division of the Servicing Department, including Tax Analyst and Licensed Tax Professional management, procedure development and promulgation, stable leadership, inspirational communications and dynamic decision making.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Acts in a manner consistent with the rules and standards of both his/her governing professional organization and IRS Circular 230, and provides oversight and guidance to all reports to ensure their compliance with these standards per respondent superior

· Provides management to Tax Analyst and Licensed Tax Professional positions, offering technical guidance and decision making on client case handling, service execution, and service issue resolution, and acting as a senior knowledge resource for all MoneySolver staff

· Tax collections and IRS resolution subject matter expert, with extensive knowledge of IRS processes and procedures. 

· Intricate knowledge of IRS policy, revenue rules, and laws pertaining to tax, tax collection, taxpayer rights, and practitioner responsibilities

· Display leadership by example, through regular floor meetings, employee interactions, and problem-solving opportunities, providing substantive leadership and inspirational messaging consistent with company goals and values

· Participate in departmental strategic planning, working with other managers and Resolution team employees execute strategy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

One of the following:

•  Licensed Attorney in good standing with the Bar of a US Jurisdiction
• Enrolled Agent in good standing and authorized to practice with the Internal Revenue Service
• Certified Public Accountant in good standing with a US Jurisdiction

• 3+ years of management experience
• Proficiency with the MS Office Applications 
• Must have at least 5 years of related experience
• Proven experience in successful management of teams and processes
