Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who loves working with children to join our team as Kids Club Coordinator starting in the Fall!


Our Kids Club room gives parents a safe place to leave their children while they exercise in our facility.  Kids Club provides a balance of fun activities and experiences developmentally appropriate to the age of the children in this program.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 -  Organize, supervise and plan activities for staff and participants in the Kids Club program

 -  Know, understand, and consistently apply safety rules, policies and guidelines for 

    Child Care-related programs  

 -  Greet parents dropping off and picking up children and maintain sign in/out log

 -  Make children feel welcome and comfort them, as needed

 -  Handle and resolve any issues or concerns with staff or members


Kids Club Regular Hours of Operation:  

Monday – Friday 8:45am – 1:30pm; Saturday 8:45am – 12:30pm


Summer Hours:  

Monday - Friday  8:45am – 12:00pm; Saturday 8:45am – 12:30pm


Pay Range:  $17.00-$21.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience

Requirements
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience supervising staff is preferred
  • Able to maintain positive relations with members, participants and staff
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Basic Life Support and First Aid certifications required (training available on-site)
