Position Details
- Working on sloped roofs, which may include tasks such as tear off of existing roof systems, addition of roofing underlayments, custom metal flashing work, and overburden addition, which may include shingles, tiles, standing seam metal, etc.
- Inspecting problem roofing to determine the best repair procedures.
- Checking to ensure that complete roofs are watertight on a daily basis.
- Sweeping and cleaning roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
- Reliable transportation to be able to get to worksites.
- Ability to safely work at heights.
- Among other responsibilities.
Schedule
Full time
8-10 hours shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime may be required.
Locations
Summit, Grand County, and Vail Valley areas

- Previous roofing experience or construction is a plus!
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge and ability to use common measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work overtime as needed.
- Actively participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions, occasionally exposed to fumes, sharp materials, vibrations, or airborne particles. Working at significant heights and inclinations. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Standing, walking, climbing ladders through the workday on a regular basis, repetitive bending and/or kneeling on hard and/or sloped roof surfaces.
