ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

The overriding and most important function of each employee is to strive to provide the finest in friendly service and quality products, either directly (by interacting with the guest) or indirectly (by providing the key support role to the guest experience).  A fast-paced work environment that requires constant attention to detail and safety orientation

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transporting, and unloading of guests and employees per ANSI B77.1 requirements.
  • Actively takes part in creating a safe work environment, and provides instruction and direction to our guests.
  • Maintain work stations by lift dept standards, including loading and unloading ramps.
  • Provides courteous, effective, and fun communication with guests and team members alike, correct information and directions to guests with a basic knowledge of other resort departments.
  • Actively giving friendly and courteous service to the guests at all times. 
  • Diplomatically handle sometimes awkward situations that may arise.
  • Check the guests' tickets and safety equipment where applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed or may be required to assist in other departments 
Requirements

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift 60 pounds at 6 to 12 second intervals for up to 10 hours per day
  • Must be able to spend the shift on feet
  • Must be able to maneuver on slippery/snowy surfaces
  • Must be able to frequently use snow shovels, ramp rakes, etc.
  • Must have a good safety record
  • Must be alert and in good physical condition
  • Must be responsible and able to work alone or with a team
  • Must be people oriented Must provide adequate clothing for sometimes extreme climate
  • Must follow all procedures and guidelines as stated in the employee handbook
  • Must be flexible in work schedule
