We are hiring an Assistant Branch Manager who will support the Branch Manager in directly managing the team members and overseeing all aspects of branch operations to ensure Members receive high quality service and all operational expectations are being met.
Business Hours
Monday – Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM and Saturday 8:30AM to 1:30PM
Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience in branch operations, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience in branch operations, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a successful team.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
- Professional and effective communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, TEAMs, Word and Excel.
- Oversees the team members with respect to providing coaching, training & development, performance management, time keeping policy adherence, and assisting in either resolving or escalating HR related issues.
- Contributes to supportive work environment, harmonious working relations and high team member morale and engagement.
- Perform the Branch Manager’s supervisory and operational responsibilities during his/her absence by making sound decisions and motivating team members to build exceptional teamwork through maintaining a winning attitude and positive behavior
- Ensures branch operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting ongoing training on savings, lending, and cross-selling programs; assist in creating and implementing O.R.G.s; assists in researching, proposing and implementing new and enhanced products/services to management.
- Assists in setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and developing policies and procedures. Tracks operational and sales goals to ensure superior service and efficiency.
- Get involved with local organizations and participate in local community events to introduce and expand CU SoCal’s relationships and reputation.
- Enhance Member Experience by consistently engaging and connecting with Members to exceed service expectations in a timely manner and by effectively resolving problems; work directly with Members to build relationships and uncover and satisfy their financial needs
- Assists branch manager in all aspects of the daily operations including Member day to day basic transactions up through advanced Member account administration.
- Complete understanding and active application the Exceptional Experience Guide expectations.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
We support Pay Transparency and are a pay-for-performance organization that benchmarks base pay to the 50th percentile of market data.
Pay Scale: Min $68,640 / Mid $77,272 / Max $91,624 per year
*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
