At Verve Cloud, Inc., we believe great support is more than solving issues—it’s about creating experiences. We’re the kind of place where Legendary Service isn’t just a slogan—it’s a way of life.

We’re on the lookout for a Network Engineer 2—a mid-level mastermind who knows their way around enterprise-grade networks like a pro gamer knows their keyboard. You’ll be working at the heart of our infrastructure, supporting everything from core datacenter routing to cloud gateway deployments, and guiding your fellow engineers like a boss. (But, you know, not the boss—yet.)

What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your Quest Log):

  • Be the go-to guru for Network Engineer ones when things get tricky
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networks like an artist with a Cisco palette
  • Optimize and monitor our Production Core network (fancy, right?)
  • Tackle IP address auditing like a detective solving a digital mystery
  • Get cozy with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and friends
  • Manage cloud orchestrators and edge deployments like it’s second nature
  • Document, diagram, and back up like a true IT Jedi
  • Bring clarity to exec-level discussions when the higher-ups are away

This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence four days a week with one day to work from home.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • A strong grip on IPv4 (and a toe dipped into IPv6)
  • 5–10 years of real-world network wrangling experience
  • OSI Layers 1-4? You’ve got them on speed dial
  • You speak fluent protocol: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSEC, and more
  • You troubleshoot like a wizard and write documentation like a novelist
  • You’ve got mad skills in LAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi, and fiber/copper cabling
  • You’re organized, proactive, and yes, actually care about customer service
  • You’re not afraid to talk to execs, clients, or anyone in between—diplomatically, of course

Bonus XP: You’ve got one of the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in CompSci, Info Systems, or Engineering
  • An advanced cert like CCNP, ENARSI, or equivalent badge of honor
