Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide a variety of radiological services according to doctors’ orders and standards of radiological care and technique. Willing to cross-train in other modalities. Float radiologic technologist with experience in X-Ray, CT, DXA a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general x-rays as needed.
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
  • Perform C. Arm procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate with radiologists and patients on all procedures involving doctors.
  • Perform QA and ensure ongoing maintenance in all procedure rooms.
  • Confirm billing and histories are correct before reading.
  • Perform job in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze and prioritize information and job tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents and patient information, documents and films.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend regular meetings or training seminars as requested.
  • Meet all corporate and site policies and protocols (conduct, etc.)
  • Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance.
  • Practice good communication skills.

Requirements

AVAILABILITY:

  • TBD, 40hr week position - Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Current valid unlimited California radiology certification. CRT + ARRT licenses required.
  • Completion of training in x-ray, fluoroscopic and C. Arm procedures and standards at an approved clinical education site.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology including abbreviations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to obtain and convey information in a clear, accurate and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate skill in operating computers and required software programs to accomplish job tasks.
Salary Description
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
