Featuring 177 beautifully designed guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of event space, and two signature dining experiences including a rooftop bar, the Cascade Hotel continues to raise the bar in luxury hospitality.

To support our growing operation and maintain our high standards, we are currently seeking a Public Area Attendant to ensure the hotel’s public spaces are always clean, welcoming, and aligned with our brand image.

Position Overview:
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all public areas within the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, elevators, and guest-facing service areas. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and plays a key role in delivering the polished environment our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and other guest-accessible spaces
  • Ensure lobby furniture, doors, windows, and floors are spotless and well-maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in public restrooms throughout the day
  • Respond promptly to guest or associate cleaning requests in public spaces
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in all public areas
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
  • Assist with meeting room setups and breakdowns as needed
  • Replenish supplies such as towels, tissues, toilet paper, and hand soap in restrooms
  • Follow all hotel safety protocols and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor with guests and colleagues

Requirements & Expectations:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take pride in your work
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle physical work including standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and work with cleaning chemicals
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Prompt and regular attendance required – the hotel operates 24/7
  • Adherence to uniform, grooming, and professional behavior standards
  • Willingness to complete background checks and drug screening as required by law
  • Availability of at least 16 hours per week for part-time employees
  • Responsible for weekly review and approval of electronic timecard for payroll accuracy
