Job Description

The Tax Manager is responsible for supporting the annual tax provision process and ensuring tax compliance across 27 U.S. states. The role also involves coordinating with international advisors to manage statutory and tax filings in 23 global jurisdictions.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist with the preparation and review of federal and state income tax provisions and compliance tasks.
  • Oversee and assist with the preparation and review of data for international statutory filings and corporate income tax, ensuring the accuracy of local GAAP bridge adjustments when appropriate.  
  • Ensure Foreign and US state tax returns and payments are timely filed/paid for all the domestic jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and update the tax compliance calendars to ensure timely filings and payments.
  • Manage the withholding tax process related to business invoices, prize money distributions, and contractual payments.
  • Prepare and review Form W-8BEN to ensure proper documentation of foreign status and compliance with IRS withholding and reporting requirements for non-U.S. persons. 
  • Manage tax accounting routines, including the preparation and review of journal entries and monthly reconciliation of tax GL accounts in BlackLine.
  • Support the implementation of new tax policies, strategies, procedures, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing tax forecasts and departmental budgets in collaboration with the FP&A team
  • Manage the transfer pricing process, including the preparation of schedules, CbCr, and other related documentation.
  • Prepare and file tangible personal property tax returns in compliance with local regulations for respective jurisdictions.
  • Provide support on special tax projects as needed, including audits, tax notices, and state and local tax (SALT) compliance.


Requirements

Education and work experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field (required)
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation (preferred)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • CPA certification (preferred)
  • 5–7 years of relevant tax experience, including exposure to U.S. multi-state and international tax reporting
  • Familiarity with international tax regulations (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working across multiple time zones and collaborating with global teams
